October is a month when the Church celebrates the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and a reminder of our call to care for God’s creation. Bring your pets as we give thanks for the joy and companionship they bring to our lives and ask for God’s blessing upon them.
Everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to celebrate all the wagging tails, happy meows, and lots of love!
At St. Joe’s we are also focusing the month of October on Service. In the spirit of service please bring donations for local animal shelters. They are always grateful for treats, food, toys, litter, paper towels, and laundry detergent.
