St. Joseph Church is a parish of singers!

Welcome to your music ministry. As a Music Minister, you'll deepen your relationship with God through the music of our Divine Liturgy, grow in friendship and fellowship with fellow parishioners, deepen your understanding of Catholic worship, and find support from others who, like you, continue to be transformed through music on their journey of discipleship.

Each week, our ministry stays rooted in the Gospel. We take from our music a call to carry that Good News into the world rather than keep it to ourselves. As music ministers, like all ministers of the Church, we proclaim the Gospel through song.

• Saturday 5:00 PM Mass — 5:00 PM Ensemble, led by Claire Birmingham
• Sunday 7:00 AM Mass - Cantor and Accompanist, led by Claire Birmingham
• Sunday 9:00 AM Mass — Choir, led by Lara Lynch
• Sunday 11:00 AM Mass — Choir, led by Lara Lynch
• Sunday 5:00 PM Teen Mass — Cantor or Youth Ensemble, led by Claire Birmingham

Our music ministry is accompanied by our 3-manual Schantz Pipe Organ, 7' Boston grand piano, and Nord Stage 4 keyboard.

Choir: Our Choir sings at the Saturday 5:00 PM Mass and Sunday 9:00 & 11:00 AM Masses. Weekly rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in the church. Choose whichever Mass best fits your schedule.

Youth Ensemble / Teen Choir: Sings and plays once a month at the 5:00 PM Sunday Teen Mass (second Sunday of the month). Rehearsals are Sundays at 3:45 PM, immediately before Mass. Junior high through college aged students are welcome to participate vocally and instrumentally.

Resurrection Choir: Offers comfort and healing through music, supporting grieving families in their time of need. Ministers are notified of funerals by email. This ministry is ideal for those with daytime availability. All are welcome.

Cantors: St. Joseph draws on talented music ministers to lead the assembly in song at weekend Masses - a rewarding way for Christ's disciples to grow in liturgical leadership.

Handbells: Our three-octave Handbell Choir rehearses Tuesdays, 4:00 to 5:30 PM, September through May, and plays at various Masses throughout the year.

Instrumentalists: Musicians proficient on various instruments are encouraged to audition.
